Interesting, the girl reminds me of the Virgin Mary, the bird could be making a nest for it's young, & the grape's could be used for wine.

Represents the disregard for human life and the waste of food in the United States. The mother looks on sorrowfully as the gifts she has given wash away with the ocean. The holy spirit is flying through the air breeding new life and new hope into the world.

The river of life flowing down to earth and stretching to heaven above. The water gives life; nourishes the earth to produce the fruit. The Holy Spirit in the shape of the Dove is spreading peace throughout the earth as denoted by the olive branch. Mother Mary, at the heart of the Trinity, looks down in sorrow at her wayword children. The Trinity is represented by the sun behind Mother Mary. It's a beautiful picture with lots of symbolism. This is also a unit picture because the grapes in the water could denote the blood of Christ uniting all of creating.
There is an Icon at the Cathedral that says: "Mary Most Holy, Mother of all Nations, Make us all one in the Trinity."

Saludos.

I saw your face in the suns glow
a face I thought
the agua ardiente had taken away
memories flooded over me
a feeling of peace
reminders of grapes in bed before
putting on our masks for the day
I saw your face in the suns glow
a face I thought
I'd seen the last of
The flood receeded, like low tide
left remains of moments
like sea shells and kelp
along the shore of my memories

The river cuts a wayward path
bearing fruits of our desire.
Concealing sweat of many men
brought on by their own fire.

In the plenty, hunger lingers;
in the many, few are saved;
It is the river's only fault
to be a road unpaved.

With guiding eyes. new hope is pledged
on wings in sacred flight.
Through this, we know, our souls for now,
will live amidst her light.

Hug

I move into her nightgowned back,
The hug begins, and she moves,
My face is near her hair.
"I love the hugs," she says.
"I do, too," I say, and then I add,
"But death will end them."
She tenses and says,
"You didn't need to say that."
"It's true, yet, enjoy the moment of hug."
She moves away, and gets ready to stand up,
Moments, life, death ...gone ....

Removed

A brother in the hospital,
Removed from the daily
Room to room of the house,
Go and come of work ....
The friend in jail,
Removed from the daily
Room to room of house,
Go and come of work ....
Both removed from autumn's fresh start,
Short days and north winds ....

Flotando en el aire su ilusión.

Su aura es la paz del mar
la luna ingrávida descansa
y el recuadro es luminosidad
brillo navideño, centelleante.
El agua embotellada cuando es libre
se derrama, forma olas,
caudales que nos alimentan los sentidos
y nos llenan de frutos:
viñales, manzanos, cerezos
y flores: amapolas
Flotando en el aire yace la ilusión:
desenmascarada por la fiesta!
